No. This plugin manages your catalog, metadata, availability rules, and audience features (watchlists, progress). You’ll still need a video hosting provider (Vimeo, Bunny Stream, AWS S3 + CloudFront, etc.) and embed their players in your title pages.

Not for basic use. If you’re comfortable with WordPress and ACF, you can manage titles, taxonomies, and settings. API access and custom hooks are available if you want to extend functionality.

The plugin provides WP-CLI commands for test data generation and index rebuilds. For bulk imports, you’ll likely need a custom script or CSV-to-ACF importer. Contact us if you need migration support.

The core plugin tracks watchlist and progress data but doesn’t include analytics dashboards or payment processing. These are planned as separate addons — reach out if you want early access or have specific requirements.

You assign region taxonomy terms to titles (e.g., “Europe”, “North America”). The plugin includes a helper class for managing region codes and availability logic, but enforcement (IP-based blocking or geofencing) typically happens at the CDN or hosting layer.

Yes. The core features (content types, taxonomies, REST API, watchlists, progress) are stable and tested. The addon ecosystem is in early development — contact us to discuss your timeline and needs.

About

This plugin was built to solve a real problem: film festivals need a flexible, rights-aware, multilingual way to take their programs online without abandoning WordPress or learning a proprietary CMS.

It´s built on WordPress post types and ACF because those tools are proven, extensible, and supported by thousands of developers worldwide. The REST API is there if you want to go headless. The hooks are there if you want to customize behavior. The addon architecture is there so you only pay for what you need.

If you think it might fit your workflow — or if you are not sure — get in touch. We would rather help you figure out if this is the right tool than sell you something that does not fit.
